I have a new gun and I hate cleaning hairspray :( so i want to use propane My dad won't trust me with a metered system cuz then the tank is with the gun so i have to do manual injection (welding torch in chamber) so how long would i need to hold the thing in there (in seconds)if my chamber is 3''X13.5'' and the barrel is 1.5''X36'' help would be much appreciated :D

About 10 seconds.
Your dad is not thinking right.
You need a ball valve atleast for a direct injection.

What he's trying to say is his dad doesn't want the propane tank to be attached to the gun incase his explodes which is reasonable.

absolutly Mr steve yup after a couple tries i found 6/7 seconds works perfect Way more powerful (and cleaner) than dumb old hairspray
PS i used a camppping type gas thingy and a valve from this little gas grill so if you used a real torch it may be different

I point out that you could build an off-boardp (detached) propane meter... many people have done so, as it can provide services to multiple launchers (thus saving money).

aahhhh idk this direct inject. works fine and i use it on my mini too so its fine are you talking about the thing with the shrader? valve on it?? i thought of that but don't wanna drill any more on it??? is it worth it ???
