I think a nice sort of ammo, to get to your friends, is water and flower. Take a big bore at least 1 inch, put e small water ballon in it, and a few onces of flower. Put a piece of toiletpaper in it as a stopper, to prevent the flower to fall out. When loading, first put in the water ballon, so it prevents the flower to slip into the valve.

When shot at a fair pressure, the ballon will pop, and a mass of flower and water will shoot at the target, making it all wet and sticky

You could uwe powdered sugar to makle is extra sticky. Haven't tried it yet, but I think it would give an amazing result.

What I have done is I mixed the flour and water together and forced it into water baloons. I didn't try it in a cannon because I had never built one back then. When they break on target everything sticks to it! and it doesn't spray the sticky liquid everywhere, just on the target (like my sisters head, )

I shot a water balloon out of my combustion and it didn't pop until it hit a tree.

It's worth noting that (IIRC) water-flour mixtures are shear-thickening; this may cause more destructive behavior appon impact, as it'll act harder than it "should".

Of course, I heard about that for corn starch, so it may not happen with the bigger flour particals.

(shear-thickening fluids also include ketchup, silly putty, and (independent testing, not certain) tootsie rolls.)

Cornflour (corn starch) & water can actually be smashed with a hammer - which is great fun, because if you have it in a smallish container, it does a Terminator 2 thing afterwards.

I think blu-tac (if you have it in america - I don't know) might do the same thing.

Tootsie rolls do act this way. I have shot them out of my small bore gun thinking it would go splat but just broke into little pieces.

I didn't shoot one at her but I did throw one at her. I got in trouble too.
I filled the mix into the baloons with a turky baster, which was tricky to do at first.

Guys, I dont mean to hurt people with this. But the club I 'm in organizes sometimes droppings and survivalquests and stuf. The people doing those things get attacked by us. We have used paintballguns with silencers in the past, but that still is dangerous, since they dont ware any protection. You need to have a good aim and go for the legs. Pretty hard in pure darkness. Later on we used airsoft guns, but only the springtype, no AEG's. I made some sort of bobietrap wits a flour cannon, but that is to dangerous to, since pyrotechnics are invalved. Nu I am thinking of a sort of landmine or bobietrap with a pneumatic flour and water gun, something that goes "boom", makes a lot of dust (flour) and those who get hit, can't cover it up (flour and water) That's the whole idea.

As a chamber fot that gun I am planning to use Dutch recycable PET-bottles, they can withstand a pressure of 7 to 10 bar (100 to 140 psi) That chould make it cheaper for start
