i took one of these apart and there is only one wire coming from it... i see pictures of people usin them with two wires, where do i get it

Usually there are 2 inside but you could just use any small wire.

my question is similar, i only have one wire and i am not sure how to wire it up. do i just splice the wire, or can i run the wire to one screw, and then the other does not have a wire attached?
