bolt action spring loaded potato bullets

Because potatoes only last one shot!

im thinking of trying this out. i think the picture explains it. any questions/criticism?

oh and for the bullets i'm gonna make a potato hole punch type thing with a piece of the barrel i'll cut off the tip.

just got back from home depot. im gonna try it with paintballs and a cylindrical clip, i'll post picks and an update on how it worked tomorrow probably

yup, i need a better seal though, there's a small leak in the bolt so it doesn't have it's full potential

Where did you get the spring? I checked my local hardware store and they don't have any like that.

If you have Home Depot, go there. They have everything, though it was still hard to find there. this kind was the only kind they had and it was in the hardware section. If you can't find any, just ask someone.

does it jam at all?
is it easy to 'reload'?

it did jam occasionally but i sanded the inside where the clip connects to the barrel so that's not an issue and about reloading, all you do is unscrew the spring cap, drop in paintballs and screw it back on, quite easily
