My second, much larger than my first. I may upgrade to a sprinkler valve but I didn't have the money with me today. The barrel is 1/2" and the chamber is 1 1/4". I put the union on so I can load it from the back. It's dark out and I haven't been able to check exactly where my shots are going but I did manage to shoot a 5" long 1/4" piece of metal wrapped in duct tape threw a wheel barrel.

Nice starting gun into pneumatics.Maybe give it a coat of paint to cover the primer stains.I love small bore pneumatic guns they are alot of fun.See if you can shoot cans full of water at like 50 meters see how many shots it takes.

Sadly I don't have 50 meters available to me.

hm, your second. Looks nice. But I think it looks nice if it were your first. Why still use a ball valve in a second. You should not try to make the same guns over and over, only bigger. Try to make them better and better. I suggest you make a better valve, before doing something else. Try making a piston valve. They ar emuch cheaper than a sprinkler valve, fun to make, if you understand how they work, and they have better performance that a sprinkler valve, so way better than a ball valve.

Just a thought.

I want to make a barrel sealing valve but the only tutorial I can find is the one on BCVids for making a chamber sealing valve and even then he skips out on a lot of the details.

They are actually quite easy to make if you can get just a few parts. Check for a Lasco 1.5" endcap, and 2" tee, the cap is a perfect fit inside the tee with just one or two wraps of electrical tape, a sealing face(neoprene or craft foam) is bolted to it and voila, glue in the porting bushings and some sort of accessable cap for the rear/ pilot and call it a day. Was this a help?

Just as a side note, The one on BCVids is a barrel sealer, he says it wrong.
