Paintball Sniper Rifle

I have already made an air cannon that was supposed to be a sniper rifle but it wasnt too good. I want to make another one that has the following features: Enfield Monte Carlo rifle stock, some kind of fast valve (i have been thinking of how to use a pressure washer trigger because the sprinkler valve seems too big, but maybe not), pvc pipe for the barrel, scope, someway of pressurizing a large tank and being able to fire about 10 shots without any more air. I want it to look as real as possible. And I have been trying to figure out how to incorporate all those features, so if you guys could give me some feed back that would be great.

Laminate some wood, cut to rough shape with with bandsaw, get out a rasp.
I would sugest a right angle quick exaust valve - not as cheap as a sprinkler, but much better - and more compact.
Paintballs fit well in either 3/4" sch 80 PVC, or 3/4" cpvc.
Epoxy it to the barrel?
Connect your large chamber to your small chamber with a ball valve; just open the valve and your small chamber is filled. You could put a regulator in there somwhere if you want consistency. Your large chamber could be 1.5", about 18" long (use it as the fore-arm of the rifle) This would be followed by a reducer to your ball valve, from witch you would expand to 1" (your small chamber) , go an inch or 2, make a 90* bend, and end in the QEV (after a reducer). This would then connect to your barrel (even this small chamber can support a 30" barrel at 100 psi), on which I would put a bolt action. Power will fall after each shot, but there's not much you can do about it aside from pressurizing your 1.5" chamber to a high pressure (twice the pressure you want to use in your system) and regulating - with that system, pressure will remain constant for the first 10 shots or so, and then begin to fall.
Bondo works wonders.

a wood enfield monte carlo stock will set you back a crapload of money, they do sell new ones made out of plastic (not sure what kind of plastic) which are only about 50 bucks, i think advanced technology makes them

since we r on the topic of snipers, do air rifling work? as in porting the barrel in a spiral design.

'Air riffling' shouldn't work - I don't see how that would apply tourque.

As to the cost of a stock, you should be able to get the wood you need for under 10$. I would recomend not using a hard wood - it's more expensive, and you probably don't want to spend that much time with a rasp.

Well, could i use a stock like this http://www.globaltrades.com/sks_stocks.html and stick a pressure washer handle where the trigger and magazine is supposed to go? That way i could hook up a paintball barrel to the handle and go from there. Do u think the handle would fit inside there?

it will probably require some fitting, so i'd order the wood one, fiberglass is nasty stuff

Yeah, the top one is what i was thinking about. How come it is only $10? How do you suppose i would keep the trigger handle in there without jerry rigging it?

they're so cheap because there are MILLIONS of surplus sks rifles around, you can pick em up for 100 bucks or less, so a stock is pretty easy to come by. i really dont know how you're going to rig up that handle to it, maybe make some brackets for it to fit in the stock?
