You probably have WAY too much fuel to ignite. Try removing the cap and slowly wave the gun back and forth 2 or 3 times.

Last night i found the best and easiest way to get the right amount of fuel i your mini.
you get a lighter the ones that you can control how much gas comes out with the little turning switch thing (it not a switch I cant explain it)
1:You take the metal protecting thing off
2: Then get that switchy thing lift it up and turn it to the left thenput it down and turn the valve control with it then repeat around 3-5 times
I know that is hard to understand :?
but if you do under stand you dont even have to hold it down just press it really quickly

Ah... in other words you turn it into a fueling source for a little overhead welding? Also known as a crack torch. Not a bad idea really.

I mentioned that in a different thread. The butane is a good fuel. It lasts a pretty long time since you don't use much, so the cost isn't really anything significant compared to any other fuel. Plus, a lighter is just a nice size.

What I'm curious about is why other people DON"T use butane? There isn't anything bad about it I can think of. Maybe if you are a minor and cannot get lighters easily. But you can find them on the ground once in a while if you keep your eyes open. That is how I get most of mine.

what u need to do is use the disposable BIC lighters and then attach the butane injector then u can regulate the output by the extension cord inside it. then ignite it works really well on small models
