I present to you, my modified "fill station" for the old sawed-off:
Attachments
The shock pump will be firmly attached to the old outlet where the hose used to be, to boost pressure up even higher.Right now the outlet is plugged.

I had to modify a schrader vale to fit INTO the male QD-fitting.I filed it to the approximat size and pressed it in with the aid of a vice.<br />It doesn't change the look of the gun.

Female Quick disconnect fitted into the outlet that used to hold the gauge on the pump.It needed a bleed valve, because it's nearly impossible to disconnect at 23 bar.

Very cool! I like the way that you fixed it up and it looks very professional. How hard is it to pump at 23 bar?

Pretty hard.I have worked out for many years and I really have to push hard and use my weight, but it's do-able.
the pump is only designed to handle 16 bar btw

I've got a pump, and there is no way I can beat 160 psi with it - which is also what it's designed to do.

Simple maths shows that my weight divided by cross-sectional area won't allow more than that.

I'm tempted to get a new one to let me get up to 200 psi or more - extra power will be more fun.

...I'm sorry, but that made my year.

The added schock pump would allow you to go higher, without having to be a bodybuilder.( more of a marathon athlete)

Jo - If you have a Halfords near you you can get one there for about £20.

Bri is right. Shock pumping is definately a "distance event"...and hazardous too. I understand that half the olympic shock pumping squad went blind while training.
