I want to build a high power flashlight like the one on thos website: http://imakeprojects.com/projects/led-megalight/
I have a basic understanding of how it works and I found the type of led which I have to get ( http://www.luxeon.com/products/family.cfm?familyId=16 )
However, when I looked at the technical sheet I got confused ( http://www.luxeon.com/pdfs/DR02.PDF )
If you look at this picture, http://imakeprojects.com/projects/led-m ... -schem.jpg ,it displays the circuit you need.
I am not good with electronics. What resistor do I need? Is this the best circuit for the flashlight?
Jrrdw? spudstuff? gort?

2 watt if i'm looking at the rite thing. I'm no expert either, but i know if you have the LED in wrong it wont work, (polarity speaking). The colored bands on a resister tell you the value of it, (i cant find my menu on them). Send gort a email. He mite know.
