Simple water rocket
I know, I hope judgement_arms ends up building one.
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.

Intriguing, balsa, heavy cardboard and electrical tape, if it ain’t broke…
I’m using a long tall rocket with a piece of .5inch SCH40 PVC for the tail, on the end of the pipe there’s a ball valve, the trigger, and a male quick connect, the nozzle, all in-line.
I’ve yet to attach fins, and the warhead is non-existent, and I have minimal funds for this project as 90% of it is going to my paintball rifle.
Edit:
As for the shoulder fired water rocket, it’ll definitely be built someday, basically a tube it’ll be simple to make, and if done right cheap, I’m thinking RPG-7ish, if it’s got a long enough range I’ll make a unit to mount 6-8 rocket tubes on an assault vehicle, along with my auto-cannon… dang, ain’t nobody gona want to play paintball with me, I’d light’em up like a Christmas tree!

Cardboard???? I use the plastic from ice cream container lids for fins.
Cardboard would get too soggy.

Oh, I forgot about the plastic lidded ones, I’m use to China-mart ice-cream…
Nobody’s said anything else about my proposed shoulder fired water rocket…maybe I won’t make it then, since nobody seems to like it… maybe somebody that’s not trying to make a paintball rifle, and there for has the time and money, should make one and give me part of the credit…

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! You have to make it!!!!!!
I've only found ONE other water rocket bazooka on the net, and the page was in another languge and the pictures were small.
You would be one of the first to make one!!!!

Do I get paid?
Were did you find the other one? A link would be nice, need to do a little R&D.
Can you use PVC solvent to glue the cap off a Coke bottle to PVC, or will I need to use Goop?
Yes I’ll make it, just something else to add to my pneumatic arsenal.

I can't find the other launcher, I found it years ago and don't know how I found it. I'll keep looking though.
You will need to use epoxy, pvc glue is made for pvc, I doubt that soda bottle lids would bond properly.
EDIT: this wasn't the launcher I was talking about, but I found this while searching: http://funscience.gistda.or.th/thaiwate ... 3102c.html
EDIT EDIT: Still not what I was looking for, but one of the pics shows a shoulder launched rocket http://funscience.gistda.or.th/thaiwate ... une48.html
EDIT EDIT EDIT: BINGO!!!!! I FOUND IT WOOOO http://funscience.gistda.or.th/thaiwate ... cher2.html

Looked at the link, man that guy got wet I’m sure. My rocket launcher’s going to be similar,
But mine will have a shield to protected the user from the rocket's exhaust.

Why bother with a shield???? Just wear glasses so it doesn't hit you in the eye and you'll be fine. The majority of the water misses you, and even if you do get hit there isn't that much water in the rocket. I hand launch all of my rockets and its more fun if you get a little wet.

Because I don’t want to get wet when it’s below 70 degrees, or when I’m target practicing, or when I’m playing paintball. Plus I think it would look cool. It’s my launcher I’ll do as I please. I’m using a two litter bottle by the way.
I suppose thats fair. How long is the launch tube going to be??? Will the back of the tube be open or closed off?? Because if its closed the rocket will probably cause a slight vaccuum behind it, slowing it down.

The tube will be long enough to mount everything comfortably.
And the back of the tube will be closed off, but the rocket won’t form a suction as it’s blowing itself out, plus it’s not a tight enough fit.
