Barrel sealers are slightly faster, and don't need O-rings.
Chamber sealers need O-rings to work.
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.

1. Don't double post

2. Barrel sealers have an advantage, easier to build and they open quicker than chamber sealers.

3. Weather the QEV would be better depends on the size of the QEV, the size of the piston valve, and the quality of the piston valve.

In a model environment, (piston seals in carriage, equalization is controlled with a check valve, etc.), barrel sealers open quicker AND can use a larger sealing face and still have the piston start to move after a larger drop in pilot pressure.
