Im just about to solder up my Copper Coaxial (1/2" barrel/ 1" chamber and was wondeing what to use for the barrel suport (where the barrel is exactly in the middle of chamber so the piston seals). I was going to use a washer with many grooves thats i found in tha shed but i dont think i can silver solder it as its mild steel with copper so could any experienced coaxial gunners tell me what they use. any help with be greatly apreciated

cheers

You don't need to solder it, just use some hot glue or epoxy. The washer won't be holding any pressure, it just needs to stay stationary.

dont worry ive already silver soldered it last week
the question was how to make the barrel sit exactly inside the middle of the chamber so the piston seals... no more problems with it.
this is now an old topic as ive fixed it up

"just use a tripod if your worried your barrel will snap"

Read the original post, a tripod won't help too much on the inside of the chamber. For those of us who actually know what he's talking about, we don't need any pictures.
