You could estimate it from finding out the weight of glass/cubic cm and finding the volume of glass in a 15mm sphere.

So from http://www.simetric.co.uk/si_materials.htm I find that window glass is 2579kg per cubic metre.

Thats 2579000 grams per cubic metre

or 2.579g per cubic centimetre.

A sphere of 1.5cm diameter has a volume of 1.77 cubic centimetres so if it is made of glass then it would weigh 4.56g.

A rough guess of course.

I have some of the marbles you are talking about. A pack of 100 weighs 520 grams so 1 weighs 5.2 grams. The ones I have I think are reasonably light, I think the catseye ones are heavier.
Airbeds... so many different uses

I've just realised what was pissing me off about those marbles...

Find the area of a circle 0.75cm in radius then find its volume...

Is it just me or are they exactly the same?

(besides the fact that one's squared and one's cubed)
