I was playing Around a few days ago and noticed the PERFECT fit of ping-pong balls in 1.5 inch PVC pipe. i was wondering if anyone had made a cannon that was designed shot ping-pong balls........

The Metal company put out a "PING PONG BALL" gun with like a 7 shot capasity. Worked very well.

i have taken ping-pong balls and filled them with water or sand. it was great. they burst whenever they hit something hard. 8)

Joel did it. It was a cloud-like cannon with a hole in the back where he connected a shopvac.

Well, he did give me an idea....... i did the math and a ping-pong ball at around 200 FPS is like an airsoft bb......... airsoft artillery peices anyone? (not like id want to get hit with it......... but............

Pingpong balls have serious air resistance compared to weight though... do they fly straight at all?

I think it would be kinda lame with how light the balls are, but it would be worth trying if you have the stuff just lying around (like I assume you do).

But then wouldn't lead bend when it hits something and not fit in your barrel anymore? Sounds like fun!
