still, 80 gallons could power my strafer uninterrupted for like a 10 minute continuous fire!

Interesting, why didn't you just use a paintball regulator? I have a similiar setup that uses a fixed WGP reg and a chuck/gauge combo from harbor freight. It can fill the air chamber on my cannon about 28 times using a 20oz. Co2 tank .The chamber is 50 cu.in. I also us this setup as a portable fill station.
