The disorder hurts my eyes...

Categories are good. These could be made into links for separate pages, so if you want to find a bigass hybrid you look under Hybrid: Heavy and so on....

Right now the contest is sort of like the "Hall Of Fame", but not quite.

SpudFiles used to have a Cannon Rank option, at the top of each thread for a cannon you could rank it. Then you could sort the cannons by rank and such.

However very few people used it, so I removed it since it just became clutter.

A whole forum section for a hall of fame would create clutter as well. At the very most, a single forum section MAY be created where moderators could move cannons they thought to be "top of the line" into the section. All types of cannons could go into it.

If you guys think the above idea is good, and you think you can convince a few mods to take on the responsibility of moving top of the line threads, then I may be able to make something happen.

i love the idea of a hall of fame, but i definetly think there needs to be order in it. There needs to be categories.

PCGUY- I actually really like that idea. But because technically there could be 100's and 100's of cannons in it, I think the moderators should be very strict about allowing only the best in. Mr. Plow's (Neospud) recent creation is a prime example of the quality of work which should be accepted.

Perhaps a sticky thread showcasing the best cannons in each section (pneumatic, combustion, BB etc.)?

PS: Thanks for the love.

just a suggestion but what about instead of a hall of fame u should have like a record thing??? or a record thing and a hall of fame?? like the guiness book of world records but instead the spudfiles book of gun records.....like there would be different catagories...say one for the longest gun....biggest gun..heaviest gun....best performance gun...fastest shooting gun...and people could make up new catagories and stuff...idk if it would work but tell me waht u think

A SpudFiles book of records is a good idea, however it's more fitted to go into the Wiki.

Issue is, most people can not prove various aspects of their cannon such as FPS, so you wouldn't really know who's is highest. At least in the Wiki people could update it as new proof is found for various cannons for various records.

About the Hall of Fame thing, I like the idea but it seems that we already have a ton of sections (forum sections). Too many forum sections makes things confusing, hell they are already confusing to someone that isn't very familiar with this website. Suggestions for this? Maybe the Hall of Fame should be a Wiki page as well, with a sort description and image that links to the full thread here on the forums. This way things could be much more organized into sections, and Moderators wouldn't have to put things into the Hall of Fame, people could just add which ones they think, and if it isn't worth others would remove it.
