for a few extra bucks you could buy an open sight scope at http://www.shortyusa.com look a little in there then go to accessories and for only $10 you could have one :D

I have seen open sights sold at like Wal-Mart before. It was just a red dot sight, but I bet it would work. I would probably go for something like that. Also maybe you could use sights from an old BB gun. I don't think it would be too hard to maybe make some kinda sights of your own. Probably take some soda bottle plastic and cut it to the right size and shape and put a dot on it, then do the same to the tip of the barrel? Just ideas

its a good idea to cut some off a old toy gun because they are alredy the right shape and dont work to bad but iv found them to brake quite easily

the other option i have found is just make a rely simple pair up out of wood or somthing else u can work with this way u can make a rely interesting pair that work for u

for example my crappy wooden pair

Or pick up a pair of ghost rings for a shotgun at walmart or something.

Well, if you want to pretend to have a usefull sight on a rifle-looking spudgun, I'd go for a 'replica' of the tang-mounted aperature sight.

That should give you enough elevation adjustment to have quite a bit of range, as well as replicating the 45-70 rifles of old. (which where graduated out to some rather rediculous ranges)
