Ok, I think your best bet is what subterranean suggested: one of those tanks isn't too much more than a pvc set-up the same volume, and it's not going to blow up if you drop it on something sharp.

my grandpa was nice enough to give me two of those tanks, but i wanted to make a back pack sorts thing. i think ill do it in the future, but not any time soon.
