Muzzle Knife

I've seen very smooth muzzle knives on guns. No tool marks or anyhting. I use a Dremel tool to sharpen the edges on my gun, but it's leaves the tool marks and it gets kinda hard to have it even all over. Sometimes I get a side thats sharpened down futher.
Whats one of the best ways to sharpen a muzzle knife so that it's smooth and even, or where can i find a giant pencil sharpener.

I use Latke's method using a Dremel and rotating a barrel that's jigged to a table. it seems to work pretty well. Course the best method is to use a lathe. http://www.burntlatke.com/riflepre.html

what Dremel head do you use? that could call so my tool marks across the end, and seeing Salad's muzzle knife would be nice.

I use the same sanding drum that Latke recommends. It does a pretty decent job if you go slow and don't let it take to big of a bite.

lathe, belt/pad sander are your best bets, if you have a protractor for your sander (adjusts the angle that you sand) turn it pretty far so you get a good sharp knife and just go slow and easy dont take alot all at once. i just have spud cutters, same size as the barrel about 6" long to cut the spuds, its easier to cut the knife on than maneuvering a 6ft barrel
