Because we already cut down all the large trees in America. "Virgin growth" trees = super dense, the rings are right next to each other, and people use this wood for musical instraments, shipbuilding, and all sorts of weird applications that demand ultra premium wood. i knew it was a model, but you shoudnt correct someone if they think its functional, thats quite a compliment in my book. Great job! I saw a thing on that sunken wood salvaging, pretty cool stuff.

In it's builind stages, it looked exactly like a motorcycle gas tank... I wish I could make things like that!
