Homemade Spring Piston Valve idea

Here is my first design for a fast opening spring loaded piston valve. Any improvement ideas please post.

That's roughly the same idea as I used in my 10mm pneumatic - it will work, but the benefits when compared to a properly exhausted conventional piston valve are dubious.

i hope this helps, the plunger stays up against the barrel inside the air chamber. when the trigger is activated the plunger (seal) pops back away from the barrel and allows the air into the barrel.

you wouldn't need the spring if the piston was a little larger, but its hard tell how mush force must be applied to the sealing face to make it seal, so its better to have a inserting o ring plug like on a lot of clide's gun
