So you know what a piston valve is and how they work? Well a piston gun is just a Pneumatic spudgun with a piston valve.

I don't think so. All piston valves, whether they are coaxial, barrel sealing, chamber sealing, or some other type, are used in regular non piston cannons to make a piston gun. BTB could have replaced the piston valve in his gun with a tiny solenoid valve... and no longer would it be a piston gun.

Hey how come I get yelled at for asking random questions?

Like they said, a piston gun is a cannon with any kind of piston valve on it. If it's a pneumatic and it has no sprinkler or ball valve, it's probably a piston valve.

Unless it's a diaphragm valve, like Brian's pistol.

I can't find it using the Search and don't want to look through 5 pages of the Pneumatic Showcase right now, but I remember him saying it used a high pressure diaphragm valve.
