Also they do still sell ammonium nitrate as a fertilizer, but you have to have a special permit i believe and they coat the ammonium nitrate ball things in this special coating which restricts their ability to be a good oxidizer or something along those lines. I just know the coating makes it extremely difficult to use as an explosive. And because of all this crap concerning it, most people just use a different type of fertilizer.
