Hi all,
I am just about ready to start on my new project.. A pneumatiuc gun based on a sniper.
Inspire by FreakyShotGlass 's "Ultimate Aussie Plinker" I hope to have this done before i go to Sweden (in two weeks today).
I am about to start to make the furniture of the rifle and i have narrowed the replica down to 4 sniper rifles in use today.
Choice of Replica sniper design.

Since you didn't put the Walther WA-2000 on the list, I had to go for the Awp
. .338 Lap is an AMAZING caliber. Good to 1,200 yards or so....
What are you going to make the stock out of?
Keep a build log posted!
Peace,
Pete Zaria.

Mine is roughly based on the AWP(technically the AWM), but I would have loved to do either a TPG-1( My favorite rifle) or a Parker Hale M85. But I think that making wooden furniture based on a polymer rifle doesn't look as good as making furniture designed for wood.
Yeah, Im going to paint the barrel.Thanks.FreakyShotGlass wrote: But I think that making wooden furniture based on a polymer rifle doesn't look as good as making furniture designed for wood.
Yeah i like the AS-50 as well. It's like a British version of the Barret.MrCrowley wrote:I don't like the scouts butt stock as much, I like the m82 better maybe mix and match?

Its hard to choose between the Scout and the AI Arctic Warfare. I am more interested in how you are going to make the guts of it. I hope you do finish it before you go away, it will look pretty sweet when finished.
Airbeds... so many different uses
thanks shud_b_rite.
By the Way i am gong to use this at about 30-40 metres away from my target.I am roughly basing the action on FreakyShotGlass's Ultimate Aussie Plinker.I am going to use compressed air but maybe there is a more powerful gas for this? or a more capacity gas?
