lol yeah this is probably the first launcher i built where i went for looks over performance. im off to shoot and will have damage pics and probably some video up in a few hours.

bummer, especially considering the name... ah well, surely there's many other potential projectiles that will fit comfortably in the barrel

well said. tomorrow im going to the store to get a big box of golfballs, maybe ill check the local range to see if they have any they dont want anymore... hopefully ill have pics or vids up sometime in the coming week.

hmmmm.... i might have to try that. i live not 5 minutes drive from a golfcourse. although they seem really stuck up over there. i have thrown the occasional noisemaker involving a water bottle and some dry ice then an undisclosed secret ingredient over my friends fence onto that course. but yes they are fun. the hardest part is getting the pipe. 1.5" sdr21, i got mine from modderxtrordanare, who i believe ordered it from pimpmann but look around for plumbing supply stores. they will probably have it.
