I wish I could use these for ammo

Because potatoes only last one shot!

They are almost a perfect fit for a 2 inch barrel. I would use them only in a pneumatic cannon. I would never shoot something this heavy in a combustion gun. They would make nice bullets for my new big air cannon Im building but there is a problem. They dont belong to me so I cant use them.

That's a great fit, but it would probably be dangerous, they might make a gun explode because of how heavy they are.

A gun should not explode because of projectile weight. Though it may hurt your shoulder. I fire 1.5" lead bullets from my abs gun and it holds up fine.

The only case I've ever seen on here is an abs gun which blew up after wax was poured into the barrel and hardened there. Then there was SB15's abs cannon failure, but the cuase of that was unknown.

Holy wack! That looks insane! In south africa we have cash converters and cash crusaders, shops where you can buy/sell second hand stuff. they always have this stuff in them, so I might just go see if I can get some! What weight are they??
Oooh, I cant wait! :D Thanks for the idea, mind if I use it???

I wouldn't use this in a barrel or chamber sealing piston gun, It could possibly snap of the join between the tee and chamber.

I was thinking of using some metal piping because as you say, its pretty skechy in pvc. I have loads of construction sites around me, so I'll go look around them! :D

if you do use a piston valve with these, be careful not to drop them to hard down your barrel... it might fire your gun. yeah your hand would be gone  How much do those weigh? Im guessin 3-5 pounds..

I definitley wouldnt hold this beast!
a) as you said, its dangerous
b) I could fly away with the recoil!
I think IF I did build it, I would make a spring-loaded stand for it.

I would shoot it out of nothing short of an inline pneumatic using a 2" sprinkler valve

Yeah, thats a pretty good idea. I havent actually given the cannon much thought, so everything I am saying at the moment is spot decisions! I am still deciding whether its worth building or not.
