I was planing on making a spud-gun. Barrel size of 1 inch to shoot these soft golf balls used on practice fields. Note there not the hard ones, you can hit one at a window and it just bounce off.

Anyways, Are these legal in Michigan? I was planning on Compressed air release valve+tank. And I know a few open fields around here, where no houses are around except over 500 yards down. Other wise it's trees around a gravel pit. I just want to check I can shoot one without having 'problems' of any type.

And yes, I'm new :D
