Yes there are ways and no it won't - give us some specifications of your launcher and we can administer the appropriate guidelinesbut seriously is there a way of suppressing the report? Will it reduce my firepower?

combustion, I presume? an easy solution to cut down on noise is to use a longer barrel.

where do you live? if your in the US you are breaking federal law if you build a silencer
I live in Australia, NSW. Im pretty sure they are illegal here too but what the hell. I usually only shoot on my property.
I made a getto suppressor this afternoon out of a 3ltr juice bottle and a heap of sheep wool(my mum owns a spinning & weaving shop). It has taken the echo out of the cannon and muffled it a bit.
My combustion cannon sounded like a 12 gauge, now it sounds like a .22 without the echo that follows.
its not too pretty but it works:)
