about 2-3 years ago there was a tv show on saturdays called American Gladiator, there was 4 contestints 2 men,2 women, red and blue team, they had 5 callenages, 1 of them was a 5 part obstacal course, each part had some kind of weapon to throw/shoot at a target above a gladiators head, at each station there is a barrier to hide behind, y hide you ask ? because the gladiator had the baddest ass tennis ball cannon ive ever seen, breach loading, duel magizean,(about 30 shots), the contestent had to make it through without getting hit by a tennis ball, i remember them showing the welps from getting hit by the balls OUCH ! i would like to build 1 like that, it would take one hell of a air supply, sometimes they would shoot as fast as they could load the dam thing, i'm going to search the web for video clips, if i find them, i'll post them. did anyone else remember seeing this show?

I remember that thing, It was awesome, the ones the contestants had to use to hit the target weren't bad either, they were more portable.

Oh yeah! That show was pretty sweet, but the cannons were better! I would love to build one like that. I can't imagine getting hit by a tennis ball shot from that thing though...even if they were a good distance away sometimes. The magazine would be the hardest part to make though. It would either have to be a gravity-feed or spring loaded. Great idea to build one.

if i remember correctly they had to cock it after each shot, making it semi auto, and if i remember even more correctly, they cocked it from a handle on the top (or left hand side?).

yes that is the 1 i was talking about when i wrote the post, where did you find the pics? i did a googlee search and only came up with pay sites, pissed me off ! it is powered by air because i use to complain about not have that kind of air power in the shop, (takes massive size air tanks), when they shot it you could hear the air refill the lines imeaditly, must of had 1 inch lines i'm guessing, also the tennis balls had no drop for at least 50 yards, straight shots from the gun to the players starting line, would like to have a few portable tb guns like this to battle friends with, fun fun
