Hey,

I went to Lowes today looking for BBQ Lighters and all the ons that they had only had one wire. How can I add a second wire?

what do you maen it only has one wire? thats impossible if its a standard bbq ignitor. post a picture or give us a link because i have never seen one with one wire.

What I mean is that there is one terminal on the bottom of it that connects to the burners on a grill. The body of the sparker, I think, makes the circuit complete through the grill.

Do not solder to the terminal, instead solder a lead to a small piece of brass and bend the brass piece into a clamp to put on the terminal. That should work.

Adding another wire. You can't solder to the terminal because the heat will fry the sparker's inards.

is this where there is a big round metal piece and one wire? cause i find that the most common if it is. so if it is, mount the metal part on the screw and put the wire on the other screw. hope this helps
