sounds pretty sh!tty to me - what exactly do you mean by "rabbit" fire, do you thread the poor said rabbit's rear end into the bolt to provide the ammunition?!

:D :D :D

Tigger fills the reservoir and the Piglet valve piglets the QEV.
Making the gun go " pooh-pooh-pooh-pooh"
Pretty basic Rabbit fire cannon.

Yes you shall...First i need to get me some money to get the bottle filled.

THEN I will post a video..

A Rabbit fire cannon is a cannon that shoots burning bunnies...

Hell...everybody´s got one these days....duh!!

BUMP!

The mmg is currently being rebuilt.I have developed a better " snapvalve", that not only opens fast, but settles better. It is now coaxial-inline, meaning, air goes in one side, bursts come out the other.
The outer tube is used as a bypass, to put pressure on the back of the piston as it exhausts to give it enough power to close fast against the flow.

While building this valve I discovered i could tap the inside of a 22mm copper tube to 1/2" wich gave me new possibilities.
I'll put up some pictures later.I've been busy building a fridge compressor ( thank you POLAND SPUD!) and am glad to say it works wonders.
35 bar, no effort.
I'll use this to refill the paintball bottle on the MMG.

Also, the mmg will be rebuilt in .50, as I have 100 muzzle-loader lead balls lying around, waiting to punch holes in stuff.
They are a snug fit in 15 mm copper tube, so I'm betting on some mayor improvements on Deathray Machinegun 2.0

dude i have built 3 airguns but all of them leak, except 1. what is the best glue sor sealing a shrader vaulve to copper?

not really the place, but I'm sure he'll have an answer.
How much has this whole project cost you?

Schraders suck.
If you get one from a bike tire, you can use the original nut(ring) to press it in place. You can add some teflon tape and that´s about it.
Best way is to sompress one in a 1/4" fitting.
Adding silicone just makes a mess and tends not to seal very well.

I use quick disconnect fittings to go from pump to gun.

So far I've spent...well...a couple of hundred euro's, but not all parts are still on it.
THe qev is now on Overkill,
The autovalve is now broken..I need to get some more 22mm copper to tap a new part.

I made the snapvalve inline, so I can connect the exhaust.Inside
I put a marble that temporarily seals the exhaust after firing, wich enables the piston to reseat.

The principle works, I just need to get better parts.

all i really have to say is very nice have you got any idea of the fps at all yet??

you was saying you need marbles? i can get 100 marble packs for like $1 or less (unless you like break the seal, and be like i think someone stole some, any chance of me getting these cheaper?) jks.

but sometimes they are like 50 cents for a pack

Btw that gun s kik ass! Its a masterpiece, very nice, and its a tight little package with some POWER! (i asume)

:D im on the edge of my seat waitng for some videos 8) :P

keep up the good work!

I would like to c some pics of your new coaxial creation. It also sounds awesome that u got the fridge pump working. I have some questions about it: does it pump fast, did u look for a specific one or do most of ehm go up to that pressure and for how much did u get it? Thnx

The MMG does not work the way I want it to, so thanks for the compliments, but it doesn´t deserve it.
The snapvalve could shoot a marble through a guitar like it was nothing, but after a couple of auto shots the valve died on me, hissing after each shot ad not retaining pressure. When it worked, it still cycled too slow for me to be happy with it.
It dumped air like a muther, but to get full auto I need a valve that doesn't waste air like the snapvalve.

The new valve still doesn´t work atm. It´s based on clide´s winning contest design, but I replaced the trigger by the working bits of a snapvalve. His accidentally went full auto, so that's a good starting point.

Mine doesn´t seem to want to POP, just starts venting, and not cycling.
Friction is the main problem, caused by the opposing treads on the central (intake) Tee being out of line.
I have a couple of idea's on how to fix it, but with my wife ready to pop out another one of my offspring :D , I find myself in desperate need of spare time.

The pump fills slowly, but surely.I've had it at 40 bar so far.
I took it off a fridge I could pick up for free from an auction site.
I did not look for a specific one...any would do...

these compressors are great no doubt about it.... I am suprised that there are so little people using these things to get cheap high pressure air source....
it's good to hear that your compressor works fine..... I suppose I am known here as the fridge guy esspecially becasue I haven't posted any of my guns yet :D

anyway I like your projects - really.... don't worry... you don't relly need to concetrate on building full auto guns - I think that a semi auto gun is somthing much more practical.... instead of spending time trying to build a working prototype of full auto gun you could just convert it to powerful and accurate semi

But the full autos here are few and far between. Anyways, got any ideas for a name to slap on the kid?

pizlo... what do you mean?
you told that as if there were dozens of semiautos on spudfiles... :D
