cube in cube in wood is pretty easy to do by hand. Cube in cube in cube is doable as well, but made much easier by a drill press and a couple of forstner bits.

All it needs its a groove boring bar to separate the cubes.
Damn it wish my lathe wasn't so crappy.

I'll have to see if we have the proper tool in the lab. If we do I'll have another go at a turner's cube but I'll separate the cubes this time!

About three years ago or so Jack made me a nose cone for my pengun, but sadly it got lost in the post system somewhere along the way... So today in the lab I had a go at it! Also my first time machining steel so that was fun. Spent quite some time polishing it on the lathe before parting. I'm really happy with how it turned out and happy to finally have made this part!
I also polished the brass chamber a while back. Nice and shiny :D

Is anyone still active in this thread? I've been working on some parts in the machine shop at school but I accidentally graduated and they won't let me back in :(

I will have my CNC working with a bigger spindle in about a month.

Hope everything goes well Jrrdw.
Thanks Wyz but I'm looking for someone in the US or maybe Canada. Shipping across the ocean is probably too much for how little work I need done.

Any Aussies with a 3d printer willing to make me some parts?

Or CNC.

Or just parts however.

PM me. Cheers.

Got a piece of 304 SS seamless tube , 2mm walled, 22mm OD.
It's relatively thin so I thought instead of shear screws I'd use one 6mm rod to connect the end cap and valve, from some online calculators I found it should be well enough for 3000 PSI. Today got end cap and fill plug machined and I'm gonna get this one finished during the Easter break.
