Thanks BtB, air is technically "free" for me, but pumping a 48cui tank to 3000psi is NOT my idea of a good time. I really could build an awesome large bore semi, anyone who's built a piston valve could, but the cost of building it would be more then it's worth if I only get to shoot it once or twice a year.

On a slightly related note, my next project with this will probably be to make a detent that can hold 20ga shotgun wads

i am thinking of a airsoft game and i see you there with your gun shooting airsofters at 850 psi.
Not recomanded friendly fire cuz you will lose some of your team members.(forever)

Pressure washer handle, something like this.

I used one of these to connect to the paintball tank.

I dout it. I think that a regulator would have to be used. With 850 or even the 450 psi reg would cause the paint balls to blow-up in the barrel...

Maybe a new dart gun? Instead of the HPA tank use a co2 adapter and 12g co2s.


Seems super simple, just reinforce the hell out of the paper cones, haha.
