660*Celsius is the melting temperature of Aluminium,that can be attained easily with a plain fuel fire.

Another good way of making a molded piece is to make the piece you wish to mold out of wax and then put it in a container and fill with plaster of paris.Wait till it sets heat the mould and pour out all the wax and fill with molten metal.

Just your average flowerpot furnace; costs about $10 to get it running for a few weeks.
