Is it possible to cast low-viscosity epoxy resin into a mold and taking it out of the mold?

P.S. Like perhaps putting a layer of grease onto the surface of the mold before casting the epoxy so that you could slip the harden epoxy out of the mold after it is cured.

Not only that but they have "casting epoxy" made specifically for that purpose.

I belive that the casting epoxy that you are refering to is a ployester resin and in that case I would saythat you are better off using JB weld or a similar epoxy for tha sake of your piston's durability.
