Firing a spud @public property

Even if you could get a reading, i don't think they have enough digits to display over 99 mph.

Surely if it was set off by a bit of spud then something like a big insect could set it off?

These things are designed (and positioned) to pick up automobiles. They will read over 99mph. Like I said in my earlier post, it may be able to pick up a spud but it would have to catch the signal just right.
