Trust me I've read the laws, I wouldn't risk it if there was a possibility of jail time. The only way you can go to jail is if you are growing a lot INDOORS, they don't like that. The only dodgy thing is as soon as you pick the buds off your plants outdoors it goes from a cultivating cannabis (100 buck fine) to "possession with intent to sell" which is a lot worse. I do it mainly because its a challenging, nice smelling plant and I seem to be very popular around harvest time.
