Hahahaha Lol, nah i might just stick to PVC, what do you mean "dont expect amazing accuracy"? Would it be able to hit a glass bottel from 30m away? if the barrel is approx 80cm?
BTW Whats a good barrel length?
For "not amazing accuracy" i mean dont expect to be knocking soda cans over from 50 feet consistently. think jumbo coffe cans from 50 feet consistently.............
my marble cannon has a 5 foot long, 1/2 inch copper barrel. it can, like i said, hit a large target from 150 feet no problem.
if i were you, i would buy yourself like 5 feet of PVC, and then just cut it down to what looks good......... to be honest, a longer inner barrel doesnt do much for accuracy, it just adds to power and efficiency.
i like the look of that cannon though. kinda looks like this one:

Ill Probs go 80-90cm long i wantit to be portable, and with the stock attached, i dont want it to be taller then me (145cm) ill sort my barrel out once ove got everything else srted, ill make it so it looks like a good size in comprassion to the rest of the gun. But With GGDT or w/e that program is called what wuld i get with 80cm barrel, and 30cm chamber?

Okay. I input the data the best I could and came up with the following results:
(this is assuming a 80cm barrel and a 30cm chamber)
Muzzle energy: 47.7ft/lbs
Muzzle velocity: 732fps

looks good, but $20 for a sprinkler valve? sprinkler vavles that you use for cannons usually are $10 or less in the US.

Look this cannon is basically like the one you want to build, but this on dosnt have the extended stock, and a his barrel is bigger

Um, that is just a normal over / under pneumatic. And so is Thursto's (just with an added stock). I bet there are a lot of cannons on this forum that look like the one he wants to build.

Hey all thanks for the comments and all, cant wait to buy the rest of my parts, i've come up with my loading idea, thanks to mr.russ, well e prob got it of someone else i dont know

it will just simply be shell loading (hense the shell holding thing i made on my stock), the shell will connect to couplers to join to either side of the shell. Im most likely having the chamber 20cm barrel approx 80cm.
Many thanks, Thursto.
