I have already pressurized the chamber to 100 PSI. It held just fine. Just how do you know those are DWV fittings?

They lack the depth in sockets that regular pipe would have. Therefore the thickness of the pipe is not your concern but rather how much of the pipe fits into fittings, consequently making it weaker, although I guess if it did blow up it would just shoot apart rather than explode.

You can tell from the short socket depths and the bell reducers (as opposed to couplers and bushings).
DWV pipe is safe for combustion launchers seeing as they generate a max of about 80psi and only for a split second, but we STRONGLY recommend avoiding DWV pipe for pneumatics. I personally would not feel safe holding a DWV chamber pressurized to 100psi.
Peace,
Pete Zaria.

Okay, I see what you all are talking about. Thank you. I pressurized the gun to 100 PSI today and shot a T-shirt across the street. Problem is, I am tied to my huge compressor by a 50 ft hose. Any ideas for CO2 portability?
