1" piston wont pilot on blowgun.. WTF!?!?

All I can think of is...

Try a 1/2 ball valve

Or the bolt on the sealing face is a similar diameter to the inside of the barrel and is actually jamming itself in the barrel on the corners of the bolt. That or you may only have a small area for the air to push the piston back on the sealing face.

Thanks for the help guys. I noticed that the bolt is kinda too big. Lol speaking of half 1/2" ball valves I had one break totally in half when I opened it a couple months ago.
