hmm. i was looking at the piston and it looked as if the neoprene could have been a little crooked, so i took it off and am currently making it straighter. is it really necessary to bolt the washer to the piston? you cant just use hot glue on the back?

and would it make it work any better to put neoprene on the barrel end too, like would a neoprene on neoprene seak be any better or worse?

just bolt it on to be sure...
neoprene on the seat is not going to do anything but do things worse...

Oh!, I think I know the problem, it might be that you didn't put a washer behind your seal face?

What If I am making a mini coaxial? Can I super glue the neoprene?

Yes, but it may blow of of the barrel, its better to use CA glue.

Yea, me too, but because he is making a small coax the bolt might get caught in the barrel, so thats why he might want to glue it, we make larger bore cannons so the washer and bolt wont interfere.

Well I may bolt it, since I decided to use 3/8 barrel.. Ehh why not..

If, you bolt it in make sure the bolt and barrel are dead straight with each other, to ensure a good seal.

K thx for the help, I've gotta go stateside for a couple days but ima keep working on it when I get back, gunna see if I can find a QEV up there. Is a 1 inch one really almost $100?? That seems ridiculous if a 1/4 is just a coupe dollars. Think I'll just start over with the piston
