Attaching PVC to a soda bottle?

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

Brass to plastic. What kind of "glue" would you use jack? I was thinking standard solvent weld but that might distort the threads in the thin caps...

JB weld or similar, even hot glue will do - its function is only to seal the two parts against eachother, the strength comes from the epoxy pour.

That's a very good question and just off the top of my head. One could take a cap from each and glue them together back to back and mount them in tubing then drill the center out. Or if you have the equipment to machine a adapter from a stick of Delrin or alike...
Yeah all sorts of such alternative "have to do it myself" ideas going through my head..

Maybe we ought to contract a Chinese manufacturer and do a Group Buy with them

As long as you don't spam the Spudfiles forums with links or ads for any manufacturing company.

BUT, if you can get someone to do this with you I don't see any problem adding a link to the useful links and information page as long as the link is direct to the product in mind, 'thread converter'.
