but if you place your barrel so it point a little upwards you only have to figure out how high or low to aim: \______/ a very a exaggerated idea of it and your projectile alway lowers a bit on big distance so it compensates a bit.

that's the problem JSR, the last bit of my barrel DOESN'T point straight it's more like:

that's almost the same as I said but you can do the rolling thingy and then do it like me and eddbot so you get a good result and you can also put a straight aluminium pipe with thick walls around so it it straight and it looks cool
