Thanks, my grandson loves it. Not sure what foam piping is. I have just been making them by trial and error. I have made a new one with half the chamber size and it works awesome with half the C02. I went to a 3/4" rocket now too and improved on making the rockets. I think I am getting about 200 yards (guess) with the new one at 150 psi, but usually only use 90 psi max. but can't resist the power of 150 psi.

if you want a parachute system, try using some ideas that have been used with 2 liter bottle rockets that use water and air. You can google this, and their are several links that still work explaining various eployment systems. I personally like the idea of using a wind up toy idea.

I now have 3 new launchers but need to find new ways to make rockets that last longer than one launch because they go so high and come down so hard.

love the rocket I'm having problems with mine i built a rocket launcher as a combustion and I'm having troubles with the rockets they don't wanna fly strait and after seconds after launch there tumbling can you send some advice please thanks.

use air instead of Co2, co2 is heavier so it wil give less speed then air at the same pressure.
