Mod an Electric BBQ Igniter ~ How-To
I just did this the other day and then had a thought about changing the battery when its dead. I created what i call a "fake battery" to fit where the battery should go and then attached it to an alternate power source, a 9v or just another AA. It works really well and is very easy to use. The best part is that you dont have to take the whole thing apart then go through the hassle of installing a new battery. I can explain more and have pictures if anyone is remotely interested.
