*update with pics**** bolt action dart rifle in the works

yes i bought 2 cold steel blowguns one to use for a cannon 1 for it's intended purpose (being a blowgun).
wow ill have to try it at higher psi, well here it is done , however i may do a redesign to reduce pilot volume.

This is the gun itself, bad picture but i was more interested in shooting it that a camera so...

1/2" plywood sails through at 90psi and about 100-150 feet down range.

With 70-90psi plastic tipped darts into a 2x4 an 2 sheets of plywood with air gaps between pieces.

well ill try to get better pics and some more damage shots when i can shoot it again.

does anyone have a good idea for a semi auto version of this maybe a valve mod or is maybe someone willing to make me a hammer valve for purchase????

A little bulky...... but whatevs.

im constructing a Hammer Valve Bolt-action .40 cal gun, im interested to see if i get the same results as you.

whats the FPS approximately?

for fps i have no idea but good power at low pressure, i need to either get a fridge compressor bult and setup or find a way to get pressure from my scuba tank (i'm a pretty avid scuba diver) without damaging my regulator.
can't wait to see your .40 cal dart gun in action, and thanks for the link dung, a little small for my application but still cool i think i might just make a mini with one of those valves.
