well ive got the new spring in! it was a bit small diameter but i got it to work out in the end. The results are increased distance by like x1.5 but the power of the bb is way higher. I can shot a paper target and have it pierce through from a lot farther. After i get the magazine and trigger set up ill make a video but then i still need to add hop up. I think ill either use the bb attached to a spring above the barrel or the rubber tubing but wont the rubber tubing wear out after a while?

The rubber tubing will wear out after a while, but for a spring powered it won't wear out for ages. The rubber tubing wears out in like an instant when using a BBMG's vortex / cloud strafers since the bbs are rushing out too fast.

The ball and spring one will give you long term, but abit more annoying to make. What kind of magazine are you going for?

Look for the one that looks like a M4 and it shows how he made the magazine release... it shoots nerf darts but the magazine can be used as the same concept.

I think I've got the magazine all figured out i just need to finish carving the wood to fit it....
I'm planning out the trigger system also so maybe i can try and get a video tomorrow when im done as long as everything goes as planned.

Wow... Awesome, looks like the 3 tube system is working for you so far. You are pretty much my inspiration of my own idea / future project. Be sure to post your final product in the "BBMG/Strafer Showcase Section" Forums.

After I finish building my vortex I'll probably start working on the pistol, then working on a spring rifle bolt aciton with the same system.

Hey dude, could I see pictures with your current update?

Take a look at this, what I was planning to do was going to buy a strip 100mx1.2mmx0.3mm of aluminium and shape it like that trigger. The diagram is quite simple it's just a prototype trigger you can call it but make an aluminium strip or any sturdy material that can handle the stress of the strong spring, and put that trigger shape into the black bit of the 3 tube piston.

Put the rubber band around the trigger shape thingo, and there you will have something that will reset itself back into place. Its just another idea, but I won't use a rubber band but something else to reset it into place.

nice idea i may try that when i get to the trigger part but now i need to get started on carving out the inside of the gun.

Ive been spending the last few days experimenting with old squirt guns and i got my flash flood modded to have two barrels, one for airsoft bbs, one for marshmallows! It works really well too.

Just something that I did for my friend littlebro05, on Inventor.

An idiot proof guide to putting the three tube system together.

Can't get any simple than this.
