just a thought for semi auto what if you had a diesel glow plug have the chamber filled with air and use some sort of injection possibly diesel from an injector ? it would be hard to fabricate but im sure it could be done

If you injected the propane as a liquid, wouldn't it's subsequent expansion into a gas then actually Decrease the overall temperature of gases in the combustion chamber?

sorry i meant inject diesel in to the heated air so it explodes
