You know, the fundamentals such as sight picture / alignment, steady aim, not pulling the shots, etc.

All important points, but if you start off with a launcher that in still conditions clamped to a vice will put shots all over the place, then it's only going to get worse. No amount of marksmanship will compensate for an inconsistent launcher.

I gave up on it, and just decided to stay with my current setup.
