it might be... open it and check it...

Mine had a very poor seal between its body and the screwed-in male quick connect thing... I replaced it but this suggest that seals/o-rings inside might be also of low quality (though I haven't had any problems with it yet)

as psycix has suggested they can be replaced


blowguns are not specifically designed to operate at 250 psi or more... manufacturers cut costs by using cheaper but worse materials (that will usually work ok at 120 psi)

Just checked the brand, it has "COILHOSE" stamped on the side of it.

use tefflon tape! Its great stuff!

fastenal sells a blowgun rated to 360psi, it's about $13 usd...

ive used a blowgun that sad 30psi max at 900psi no problems bit harder to actuate tho.
